Summary: Property was perfect. Clean, well maintained, beautiful view, close to shopping and necessities. 25 minutes or so to Silver Star Ski Resort. Our hosts Rikki and Ken were great.

Summary: Despite the smoke of the nearby wildfires, this was a very lovely place to stay. We cut our vacation short but wished we could have spent longer in this suite as it was very clean and wonderful with a fantastic view of the lake.

Summary: The hosts are inviting and friendly. The property itself is clean and well-appointed: * The two bedrooms are perfect, very clean and comfortable. * The kitchen has all the basics you'll need. I particularly appreciated the Keurig coffee maker, a godsend; I always struggle to make a good cup of joe outside my home digs. * The living and dining rooms are great for a family of four. Perfect for two couples too. * The outdoor patio with a table and chairs were great for enjoying the view. The location is perfect for beachgoers, hikers, and mountain bikers. Anyone looking for a good anchor location can take advantage of all that Coldstream has to offer. There's a terrific flat walking/biking trail along Kal Lake that is a 10-minute, if that, ride from your door. Along it, you will find little beaches to stop at along this route and take in the bluest waters around. My kids are teens, but I'd say this trail/path is useable by all ages. It's an easy 5-minute drive to the nearest grocery store for all your essentials. There's also a pharmacy and movie theatre in the same complex. Not to mention the hosts have a beautiful garden which attracts lots of birds. My favourites were the quail with their babies. On our last morning, we even saw deer in the trees below. One caveat about my review is we left early due to the wildfire smoke. I wish we could have stayed our entire booked stay, but it couldn't be helped. Again, lovely place and hosts. I highly recommend it.

Summary: We had a great stay at the property. The owners are on site and very nice. It is a short walk to the beach and the rail trail cafe. We enjoyed the south facing patio and bbq. The place is very clean and much more spacious than appears in the photos. The only downside is there is no a/c but we didn’t really need it the week we there. All in all we would recommend this property.

Summary: Family really enjoyed the view, and the property is amazing. There are birds around and even a family of quails came to visit us. Great property and only 5 min walk from the beach.

Summary: We enjoyed a wonderful stay at this property. The location is excellent - just a few minutes from the lake (the beach trail directly from the property is a bit too steep and rocky for a stroller but the walk around along the road to the beach is still only about 5 minutes). We also really appreciated the use of the beach chairs, umbrella, cooler bag, beach blanket etc. The yard was great for our young children and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to cook. We also really appreciated the use of the BBQ and washing machine. Excellent communication with the hosts and check-in/out procedures. Overall an excellent stay!

Summary: Great location for a stay near Vernon. We really enjoyed being able to BBQ in the beautiful backyard overlooking the lake, and being able to walk down to the beach only a few minutes away. They even provided a beach blanket, lawn chairs and Keurig k-cups for our morning coffee so we didn’t need to travel with those items. Property managers were responsive and even made space in their shed for us so we could securely lock up our bicycles overnight. One of the best VRBO experiences I’ve had; would stay there again. The shower did lack water pressure, but that’s understandable given the location on the top of a hill.

Summary: We were there x our son’s wedding. We had everything we needed x our stay The hosts were soooo amazingly prompt to take care of anything we were looking for. The place is new, clean, bright, well designed to have a private stay, very close to the lake beach. The cul de sac it’s very quiet, the location is perfect. We are looking forward to go in winter time. The house is complete for any stay: books, board games, coffee machine, beach towels, new bed sheets, well manicured patio with lots of trees, flowers, spectacular singing colourful birds. Lovely place to remember and recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy the view of the Kalamalka Lake during nighttime and wake up sipping a coffee in the patio Thank youuu Rikky Mirtakoko
